John J. Woods is the father to four boys and husband to Janelle Blaylock Woods. John attended Tennessee Tech where he was a member of the football team. He is in his 30th year in Financial Consulting and the last twenty six years as Executive Director at Oppenheimer and Company. Prior to that, John was Vice President at Lehman Brothers. John is a former owner of 7 Speed and Agility Facilities and owned Sports A Rama and Honeycutt Sporting Goods for 5 years. His two oldest sons played football at Kentucky and 16U football and baseball at Walton High School, as well as 643 Baseball. John has served on several committees at NYO. He is President of Friends of Chastain Park Foundation, serves on the Board at 643 Baseball Foundation and is the Chairman of Walton High School Touchdown Club. John is currently the owner of the Chattanooga Lookouts.
