John J. Woods is the father to four boys and husband to Janelle Blaylock Woods. John attended Tennessee Tech where he was a member of the football team. He is in his 30th year in Financial Consulting and the last twenty six years as Executive Director at Oppenheimer and Company.
Jim joined Southport Capital in 2008. He serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager at Southport Capital and Agency Principal for Southport Capital Risk Management. His primary focus is helping small to medium sized business more effectively manage their retirement benefit accounts.
Michael J. Mooney is a Partner and serves on the Board of Directors for Southport Capital. He has over two decades of experience managing investment portfolios. He began his portfolio management career with Oppenheimer Capital, specializing in working with retired Delta and American Airline pilots.
As Chief Operating Officer, Paul DiPalma helps advisors create their personal “dream practice” and clients achieve their own “dream retirement”. His experience in the financial services industry has led him to enable advisors and clients alike to become equipped with the necessary tools required to meet their very specific and very different needs.
As National Sales Director, Celeste duPreez partners with financial advisors to provide them with the marketing solutions, business branding ideas and client acquisition strategies necessary to their success. Her strong administrative background enables her to assist advisors’ support staff with administrative and sales process implementation.
